Application Instructions
Admissions Procedures:
Your application to Lipscomb University cannot be processed until
each of the following documents has been submitted. The
application, as well as all submitted documents, becomes the
property of Lipscomb University.
An application is considered complete when we have received:
- A completed application. Please ensure
that all questions are completed in full.
- A $25 non-refundable application fee.
- Official ACT, SAT or TOEFL scores.* Our institutional
code for the ACT is 3956; for the SAT, it is 1161. Lipscomb
accepts your highest composite score but cannot combine scores
from separate tests.
- Official high school transcript.*
- Official college transcript (if applicable).
- Academic evaluation. Please use the form in this
application packet to obtain an evaluation from a teacher,
principal, guidance counselor or other school official.
- Admissions interview. You may contact Lipscomb
University Admissions at 1.877.LU.BISON to set up your interview. Interviews usually
take 10-15 minutes and may be conducted in person or over the
telephone.
* Transfer Students with over 60 credit hours are not
required to submit these items.
Next Steps (these items will be sent after admission has been
granted):
- Health record form. All students are required to
provide a record of immunizations and medical history. Return the
Health Record Form to the address on the form.
Admission is not final until this form is received. For more
information about the Health Record Form, please refer to our FAQs.
- Scholarships and financial aid. It is recommended that
you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov as
soon as your family receives all of their tax information. The
results should be sent to Lipscomb (Code 003486). For fall
admission, the FAFSA should be submitted after January 1 but
preferably before February 28.
